Butterfly World is the largest butterfly park in South Africa. The location of this park is set suitably at the junction of the main Wine Routes of Stellenbosch and Paarl.

There is no visiting time to Butterfly World, and visitors are welcome to take photographs or videos of these beauties. Refreshments and light snacks are available from the restaurant, and the craft shop acquires butterfly related commodities.
Inside the display house, there are depictions of the life cycle of the butterfly, and if visitors are lucky, they might see a butterfly emerging from its pupa.
There are no guides, but if some one requests for a guide, it is provided where a personnel member shows the group around.
