Day 1: Durban
Arrive Durban and check into the hotel. Day at leisure. Enjoy a nice swim at the hotel and relax. Over night at the hotel.
Day 2: Durban
A full day tour of the city covering the latest uShaka Marine World enjoy a guided tour of this world class facility which will comprise of a salt water aquarium with both indoor and out door displays and showcases South Africa's unique Indian and Atlantic Ocean Marine life. Enjoy the Dolphin, Seal and the Penguin show. Over night at the hotel.
Day 3:Durban
Experience the traditional Zulu culture today a sweet drive to KwaZulu-Natal north coast through sugarcane fields and into tropical beauty of Zululand and the nKwalini valley. Visit the Shaka museum and learn all about the culture and tradition of Zulus and witness the skill and artistry that goes into building their huts, making pottery, brewing beer and crafting bead-work and baskets. You can sample some of the unusual beer and enjoy the grace and energy dance of the Zulu dancers. Return back and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Durban /Port Elizabeth
Breakfast and transfer to Durban International Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Port Elizabeth / Knysna
We leave for Port Elizabeth and enter the Garden Route via Tsitsikamma Mountains and the Bloukrans and Groot River passes.Visit the Big Tree and Garden of Eden passing through Plettenberg Bay reach the Oyster Capital Knysna. Arrive and check into the hotel. In the evening enjoy a sunset cruise on the lagoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6:Knysna /Oudtshoorn
Today we do a train journey aboard a steam train Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe the best way to come from the feather capital of the world so named because its the center of South Africa's feathered industry, then head underground for Cango Caves South Africa's natural wonders. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Oudtshoorn/ Cape Town
Depart for Cape Town via Hermanus and if you are lucky could catch up on some Southern Right Whales that frolic offshore. Arrive CapeTown and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Cape Town
Discover the Mother City! Enjoy the spectacular views from Tablemountain (weather permitting). Explore the vibrant V & A Waterfront and World Heritage Site, Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela spent almost 19 years of his life). Tonight you are at leisure to explore the restaurants and vibrant nightlife of the city. Over night at the hotel.
Day 9: Cape Town
Today offers a full and exciting day touring the Cape Peninsula. Highlights include: Cape Point Nature Reserve, a visit to the penguin colony at Simon's Town and Groot Constantia. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Cape Town / Home
After breakfast we head to the international airport for the return flight back home.
