Day 1: Johannesburg/Sun City
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport from where you travel in a westerly direction past the Hartebeestpoort Dam that lies at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range. A brief stop at Hartebeestpoort dam from where sweeping views of this scenic area can be enjoyed and continue your onward journey to Sun City. Sun City is reached within around two hours after departing from Johannesburg International. The afternoon is spent relaxing after the long journey in the magnificent Palace hotel. Enjoy a nice candlelight dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Sun City
Morning breakfast free day or you have an option to visit the local crocodile sanctuary where the ancient creatures can be admired at close quarter. Their habits and behaviour come under the spotlight before enjoying a game drive in the Pilansberg National Park which is adjacent to Sun City. This 55 000 Ha nature reserve is home to the big five as well as a large diversity of plains game species and first sighting of the gracious mammals of Africa in their natural surroundings is sure to be a memorable experience. The afternoon is spent at leisure affording guests the opportunity to explore the many different entertainment options available at the Sun City.
Day 3: Sun City
Breakfast. Day at leisure or you can spend your day shopping or just get to know each other better. Enjoy the Palace Resort it takes almost a day to go around and enjoy, casinos, discos health clubs etc. Over night at the resort.
Day 4: Sun City / Mmapulanga
After breakfast the tour passes through the coal rich highveld en route to the town of Dullstroom. Dullstroom is a quaint town dominated by colonial architecture and surroundings, which are characterized by clear mountain streams and beautiful hills and dales. Before reaching the overnight destination of Walkersons a visit is made to the Bird of Prey and Rehabilitation Center that plays an important role in the protection of the raptor species through the awareness of the plight of these tremendous birds. Over night at Walkersons.
Day 5 : Mmapulanga
The day can be devoted to gentle country pursuits on the magnificent 1500 hectare estate, the estate offers beautiful forest and river walks, as well as walking trails into the nature reserve where indigenous game abides in a mountain wilderness renowned for its bird life and prolific flowers. The estate is a heaven for the fly fisherman and if you are so inclined you can spend some time to fishing for the Rainbow and Golden trout in clear mountain streams.
Day 6: Mmapulanga
Breakfast and day to relax or do an optional of safari tour to Kruger National Park. The Greater Kruger National Park is home to the greatest diversity of different mammal species on the African continent and it is one of the worlds largest and most important conservation areas.
Day 7: Mmapulanga / Johannesburg / Home
Depart for Johannesburg International Airport for your return journey. Arrive at the airport finish through your customs and immigration and proceed to the departure lounge for your return flight back home.
