Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive Nairobi International Airport and after customs and immigration proceed to your hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Morning after an early breakfast drive via the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Maasai Mara. On the way have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and the pyrethrum plantations. Afternoon go for a game drive till dusk at Maasai Mara. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance of wild life over 450 species of animals have been recorded here, see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeest's, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest's and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
A game drive after breakfast at the Mara, spend the rest of the morning at leisure. Enjoy a leisure lunch at the lodge and proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: Maasai Mara - Nairobi/ Durban
0630 hrs-Optional to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild and viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience. Return back and proceed to the airport for your flight to South Africa Durban. Arrive Durban and check into your hotel. Day at leisure. Over night at the hotel.
Day 5: Durban
A full day tour of the city covering the latest uShaka Marine World enjoy a guided tour of this world class facility which will comprise of a salt water aquarium with both indoor and out door displays and showcases South Africa's unique Indian and Atlantic Ocean Marine life. Enjoy the Dolphin, Seal and the Penguin show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Durban
Experience the traditional Zulu culture today a sweet drive to KwaZulu-Natal north coast through sugarcane fields and into tropical beauty of Zululand and the nKwalini valley. Visit the Shaka museum and learn all about the culture and tradition of Zulus and witness the skill and artistry that goes into building their huts, making pottery, brewing beer and crafting bead-work and baskets. You can sample some of the unusual beer and enjoy the grace and energy dance of the Zulu dancers. Return back and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Durban/ Swaziland
The day begins with a motor launch cruise and the breathtaking wilderness of Lake St.Lucia a World Heritage Site. Back on land and we drive past the rural homesteads of Zululand and to the tiny kingdom of Swaziland. Visit the famous Swazi Candle Factory where you will see waxy works of art on creaking shelves. Arrive at your hotel and overnight.
Day 8: Kruger National Park
This morning drive to Kruger National Park The Kruger Park is big game country. Lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino (the "Big Five") and tens of thousands of antelope roam the sunlit plains. Leopard stalk the night; shy bushbuck hide in the riverside bush and giraffe browse on the topmost branches of the sweet-scented acacia tree. In no other wildlife sanctuary is so much so readily - and comfortably - accessible to the tourist. The park has more than 2600km of well maintained tar and gravel roads which takes one to numerous well-frequented waterholes, tranquil, shaded picnic spots and scenic viewing points. The 26 rest camps offer a range of accommodation, which, together with shops and restaurants cater for the daily needs of visitors. Weather permitting you can enjoy a lovely barbeque. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Swaziland / Pretoria
After breakfast we leave for Pilgrims Rest the old mining village where gold was discovered gasp at the glory that is God's Window.
A boundless view of forested mountains and fertile plains. Visit the Blyde River Canyon one of the natural wonders of Africa. Over night at Pilgrim's Rest.
Day 10: Pretoria /Johannesburg /Sun City
Early morning we depart for Pretoria and travel to the world famous Premier Diamond Mines which produced Africa's biggest diamond the Cullinan, from which the Great Star of Africa was cut to grace the scepter of British Crown Jewels. Continue on to Sun City via Johannesburg. Arrive SunCity and check into the resort.
Day 11: Sun City
An early morning drive to Pilanesberg National Park the unspoilt bushveld sanctuary being home to the Big Five as well as abundant bird life This sanctuary features some of the country's best animal spotting among them Scavenger Hide, an underground hide with glass viewing ports, and bird hide in the middle of Mankwe Dam. Return to your hotel.
Day 12: Sun City
Today day at leisure or you could do some activities like Quad biking, Para gliding, Horse Riding, Clay Pigeon, Archery. Enjoy exploring the magnificent gardens of the Lost City and Kwena Crocodile farm. Over night at the resort.
Day 13: Sun City /Johannesburg
Drive back to Johannesburg enroute visit the Gold Reef. Gold Reef city is a reconstruction of Johannesburg during gold rush era built along a goldmine. Watch the molten gold being poured and take a trip down an old mine shaft. Enjoy a tribal dancing in the evening. Over night at the hotel.
Day 14: Johannesburg / Home
Return back home after a wonderful trip and loads of stories to tell your friends kith and kin.
